Great Parenting Produces Healthy Adults |
Don't listen to those nonsense reviews below. This book was a lifesaver for me when my child was a newborn. It taught me all the things that should have been passed down throughout the generations, but our culture has thrown out the window. My baby had a dairy sensitvity which made him very high-needs. If it hadn't been for The Baby Book I would have lost my mind and not have bonded with my baby so well.
The book gives great suggestions for how mother and father can bond with the baby. Now wonder Dr. Phil HIGHLY RECOMMENDED this book on his show this year and said keep it handy and refer to it often. If only we had more pediatricians like Dr. Sears................. |
HOW TO RAISE A SPOILED BRAT |
| This is a great book if you want to sleep with your child until it's 12, if you want to remain barefoot and pregnant until they are 18 and if you want to deal with their therapy payments until they are 21. The Sears' advocate "attachment parenting" which isn't practical (or sane) for most contemporary families. One of the chapters is about how to avoid an epidural. Need I say more to any of those of you out there who have had a child. |
A very good book |
| This book has been so helpful to me as a first time mother. It seems to answer all my questions. I am amazed by all the information it contains. I do understand the negative comments this book receives in regard to the tone of the book. If you can overlook that, then the book is a very useful book. I liked this book much more than the "What to expect the first year" book. |
