The MBA Jungle B-School Survival Guide |
| As someone thinking about getting my MBA, I found this book to be a fantastic tool. It has helped me with my decision process and gave me great insights on what to expect. It even gave me great tips on how to handle certain situations that I will most likely encounter. I would highly recommend this book to anyone thinking of getting their MBA! |
Good book if your school fits the mold |
| I found this book interesting, but it seemed to me that it would be most useful to a Harvard/Stanford/etc MBA. I go to a business school that is not a top school, and I found that much of what was said just didn't apply to me. In fact, after reading this book you might be scared away from b-school, even though many schools do not employ the pressure cooker tactics of some of the more prestigious ones. I would recommend reading the book, but remember that little advice can hold true for every program. |
A lot of talk ... no substance |
| Nothing in this book is new. It presents common sense topics as if the editors were the first ones to come up with the ideas. This book is very shallow and was not worth the money. |
