RKL: allways great Nardcore
| This cd, released on Epitaph is a great example of an awsome old-school Nardcore band, kickinga$$ on a major record label. While I Love this cd, I gave it 4 stars because If this is your first RKL cd, then you should be looking at their album "Keep Laughing". This is a better cd. Great Punk/thrash/Rock. and if you like this cd, get Riches to Rags. | |
RKL are the boys | |
| This album takes you right back to the late 80's punk/hardcore scene in San Francisco just before it died. relish in the joy of pure hard hittin rock. Songs like "Tribute to the Jester" and "Catch Your Breath" show the bands ultimate maturity in their song writing and overall mayhem. Before MTV ruined punk there was RKL, love it. Besides this album shows some of the best drummimg and best bass playing hardcore has ever seen, and it's one guy doing both, not to mention he's the main songwriter, Bomber! | |
This is awsome for all Thrash or Punk fans
| Well, if you ever find the LP version, this is a must have, the comic book is sure to be a classic in any collection, the LP comes with it inside. Aside from that, this album just rocks, if you are a fan of Lagwagon 's new CD "Let Talk About Feelings" , this is the band Chris started with. The chops are fast furious, and mondo-riffy. The drums will blow you away, and the basslines ... well, wow ~! It's a must have for any punk or thrash fan, and i must say it's in my top two favorites of all-time, and would definitly make my Desert Island list. A fantastic record which i will listen to when i'm old and grey, and people will look at me funny for being old and still enjoying thrash-punk rock.
