A Classic | |
| If you can't tell by the price this album is being sold at this is a rare find and actually deserves the price tag which it garnered. A masterpeice of an era long gone in hip hop music...Showbiz handles the production with DJ Premier and Roc Raida and has classic DITC crew guest spots. Method Man appears on the rarely heard "Got The Flava" and provides a verse which seems to be frozen in time. Along with Main Source "Breaking Atoms" this album, though expensive, belongs in any true New York Hip Hop head's collection. | |
if didn't know before i guess you know now... | |
| this album is one of my fondest walkman memories of 1995/1996... good fellas is a snapshot of show and ag at their best...a little harder; less funny, and more serious than the "can i get a soul clap" sound of the early 90's... this album represents a great period in hip-hop, right before the rawkus explosion--when payday was the label that had everone "good"... excellent production by showbiz, finesse, and diamond...ag's rhyming, at its best...1995...DITC...and even a little meth and ghetto dwellaz (d-flow, party artie)mixed in here and there... essential. |
