Essential for any Nursery
| I truly loved this wedge. I placed a fitted bassinet sheet over it and used it to elevate my children in their crib. (I have two daughters 4 and 2) I know this is supposed to be placed under the mattress, but since I was breastfeeding it was hard to tell which way I would be placing my daughter in the bed (depended on which side she fed on last). With the fitted sheet on this wedge I was able to place it on which ever side of the crib I needed to lay my daughter down. I truly loved it. I have given it to other moms as a shower gift. With my third child on the way I am looking forward to using this product again. It is extremely great if your child has a tendacy to spit up or reflux. i recommend this as an absolute essential to your nursery. | |
One of our best investments
| We purchased the crib wedge because we noticed that the hospital elevated babies' heads in their nursery beds to make breathing easier. Later we found out that our son has acid reflux. I don't know how related this is to the wedge, but he has never had an ear infection. I credit that to the fact that when he has a cold or is teething, the fluid is able to drain better. I've read that others do not like the product because it has a hard backing, but we never had a problem with this. I use a crib mattress pad and placed the wedge under both the mattress pad and the sheet. It's soft that way and provides a gentle, comfortable slope for baby. | |
fits great | |
| i was skeptical of the other reviews that said there was hard cardboard or that the sheet wouldn't fit -- i found the wedge to fit great - all the way across the crib with no gaps and regular sheets fit fine (a little tight but they fit) of course the t-shirt sheets give a lot more. i only wish the wedge was bigger and would fit 1/2 the matress instead of the 1/3 it does now. |
