Perfect for my first apartment with no rommies |
| I absolutely fell in LOVE with this table when I saw it put together at a local Target store. I didn't have a lot of money and I was determined to find something nice because I am finally moving into an apartment with no roomates (i've moved a LOT in the last 4 years)
So, I wanted to start over with some nice affordable furniture to get me through until I could afford something a little pricier....soooo...I splurged one day and bought the coffee table and an end table. I put it together, and voila! a beautiful set that I have recieved many compliments for. I am going back for the three-drawer console in about a month. At the time i also bought the foldable shelving from this line and ended up returning it because it just wasn't nice enough for a living room. They do, however, have a very nice shelve set that I may get if I have a nice place for it.
I'm so excited! I would definetly recommend this furniture. I've had it for about 6 months now and only have one small scratch on it and I have a cat!
thanks again Target! |
You won't be disappointed. |
| I bought this coffee table -- plus its 2 matching end tables -- about 1 month ago, and every time I look at them, I'm reminded of the great value I received for such a low price. Beautiful, dark walnut finish; very elegant, understated, & stylish. Unbelievably easy to assemble! All tools necessary for assembly are included -- 10-15 minutes after opening the flatbox, and you have a gorgeous table ready to go. Beautiful furniture at a perfect price.
A few notes of caution:
1. Please note the dimensions of this table -- it is smaller than some, which is exactly what I was looking for, but make sure it is the size you have in mind.
2. The single, shallow drawer definitely hails form over function, but this doesn't detract from the quality of the table in any way (others may definitely disagree on this). I can easily fit 4 remotes and 4 thick coasters inside, but that's about it. (Why I need 4 remotes is another story!)
3. Look carefully at the picture. The tabletop is not smooth all the way across - there is a 2-inch, gently raised ridge bordering the edge. On the one hand it keeps things from rolling off, on the other hand, it reduces the useable surface space. Again, doesn't detract from the quality of the table at all in my opinion, but you may want to note the design. |
Looks better in the picture |
| This coffee table goes really well with the rest of my furniture & is so inexpensive that I really loved it at first. However, within a week the edges between the outer panels and the inner top started cracking/openning up. So now it's cracked on all 4 edges. I can't find the receipt to return it, so I'm stuck with it. |
