| Quick Assembly; Low Price; Expensive Look! | |
| These bookshelves are amazing. We have them placed in a living room set with pieces five to ten times more expensive and they look extremely. We've had people ask us, "Where did you get those bookshelves?" We just chuckle and say Target. They have a hard time believing us, but after going to check them out, AT LEAST TWO OF OUR OTHER FRIENDS ENDED UP BUYING SOME FOR THEMSELVES. Obviously, they are not the strongest pieces of furniture. They are not designed to be. But if you are even moderately careful with them they will hold up fine. Our have for six months so far. They do not have as much storage space as I would have like, but they do their job well, with a classy look. Since Target stocks them, I would definately go take a look at them before you purchase them to make sure that they are what you are expecting. Also, as with many ready-to-assemble furniture items, they are often damaged during shipping since the boxes tend to be tossed by the shipping folks. So hang onto your packaging. Even if you order this online, you can return it in person. You may have to if the piece is damaged. But if you can manage to get a mint condition piece and you like the style, you will be happy. | |

| I bought this bookcase at my local Target store. I was skeptical at first, hoping I wouldn't get a damaged or scratched piece. I assembled it at home by myself in under an hour. It looks great next to my other living room furniture (mostly Pier One). I am very happy with it, it is a good price, very sturdy and I soon plan to buy another one to match. | |
| Great Bargain - Nice Quality | |
| This is a great bookcase for the money. I needed a book shelf and desk for our den and did not want to spend a lot of money. The Dolce collection was perfect in color, size and price! Everything matches nicely and the stain is a lovely rich color. The only "cheap" part is that the back of the book shelf consists of a thin piece of press board that you tack on with small nails. However, because the color matches the wood, it is hardly noticeable. I definately reccomend this and the desk too. The whole line is great if you want that rich wood look for a bargain price. |
