 Great when used properly! |
| I purchased this thermometor for our first child, and have used it several times (tested first on myself). I find it is almost always within a degree of the oral temperature (and ear thermometors will ALWAYS read about a degree lower than oral). I am a registered nurse, and have used them a lot in my career; this helped me with technique. It's important to gently tug the ear lobe down and turn the probe for a snug fit into the canal opening. If you are unsure of your technique, be sure to bring it to your pediatrician so they can teach you. I find this product to have very accurate readings when used properly. I am completely satisified with it's performance! |

| I got the thermometer as a shower gift. It is completely unreliable. Sometimes the temperature would say 60 degrees then 2 seconds later it would say 106 degrees. Luckily Babies R Us took it back with no problem. |
