Good, only one problem.
| I like this table. My wife (for whom this was purchased) likes this table. It's useful as others have mentioned for use as both an end table and for holding food as it is intended. It's sturdy, looks nice and is a good size. The only problem I have with it is that it is difficult to carry once loaded. Ideally, one could pick it up and carry it legs and all. (If you pick it up by the handles you see in the picture, you only pick up the tray.) It is possible to pick it up, legs and all, but difficult because one has to put one's hands under the edges of the detachable tray. A fair amount of the weight ends up resting on one's wrists. It's uncomfortable and a little annoying, but not enough to lower the rating by more than one star, in my opinion. Overall, a steal at the price. | |
Minimal Solution for Dinner Table
| I purchased this table to put the pizza box, or the chinese food onto, at the time when we had absolutely no room on our working tables in our dorm. The Butler table, once folded out, can accomodate a reasonable amount of food/drink, when you can use other spaces in your room to do whatever you have to do. When you've ended your pleasure of eating, you can rest the table folded to a surface. Another positive quality about it is that you don't have to fold the legs and put the tray on top of it; instead, if you prefer so, you can just have the tray on your lap, providing you more comfort. I think the butler table is a perfect solution for those looking for a compact, minimal, and versatile table. | |
Beautiful Look, Inexpensive Price
| This butler table is a beauty, and won't break your bank!
We have ours set up as a mini-bar and it is not only sturdy, but very easy to use. We received ours as a wedding gift and it is a gift I would give again and again. |
