As a graduate student, I live off of a pizza a week. This is perfect for reheating to a nice crisp crust and bubbly hot cheese with one touch! (And also does great toast and bagels.)

I've never been fond of toaster ovens. I just didn't "get it". But when my regular oven went out, I decided to get one of these until I could get my other oven fixed. This is a GREAT toaster oven. It works MUCH better than the one we have at the office. Just remember that this is a TOASTER OVEN and is not really for baking a cake. I read some of the other reviews, and didn't really undestand one about not turning off automatically and the door not having some filtering for the lights. I'm assuming that this was on a previous model, because the oven does turn itself off and it also has filtering on the door. There are some differences between this oven and some other "traditional" toaster ovens. . . . such as:

You do not "preheat" this oven. You simply put in whatever you want, and turn it on. This is actually really great.

There are some preset buttons on the oven including for toast, pizza, etc. These are quite useful also. I will say that though it says to put the pizza in the oven frozen, I usually put it in the microwave and defrost for a few minutes first, and find that works better.

This is an infrared toaster oven, so there are two lightbulbs which turn on and off during the baking process. Though this can be a little "odd" at first, you get used to it.

This is a must taller toaster oven than what I have seen before. There is plenty of room inside, and you don't have to worry about things hitting the top and not fitting. It is a toaster oven though, so you're not going to be able to roast a turkey inside.

Overall I'm very happy with the purchase. I've had mine for about four months, and haven't had any probelsm with it. One last thing. . . The rack also pops out a little when you open the door, for easy removal of the item, which is a nice feature.
User rating: 5A toaster oven that toasts, at last
It really does do toast as good as a toaster, but.......if you use frozen bread, let it thaw out first or you'll get toast that looks and tastes like sandpaper. In spite of a woeful lack of info in the "users" manual, you can cook just about anything in this oven that will fit through the door. Watch out for the bright light, though. It really does shorten the cooking time so you may have to go through a trial and error period and, NO, you don't have to wrap everything you cook in foil as the manual would have you believe. Bothered by the bright light ??? Get a pair of cheap sunglasses....it's worth it !!
