| For most people dusting and fun don't belong in the same sentence, but they've probably never tried a real feather duster! This product is fabulous, and its fun to use! Its so easy, you can dust around knicknacks or decorations without having to move anything, you can get into tiny little figurine crevices or detailing on plasterwork (yes, it works on walls and ceilings and anywhere you can imagine). Best of all, the dust sticks right to these feathers, so less of it gets into your air (and back on your things). When you're done dusting, just bring it out side and shake, shake, shake - make sure you're not down-wind of it though! If you have kids and want them to help around the house, this is an awesome thing to have - its sturdy enough to withstand their games, and it makes doing chores entertaining! You can pretend to be a french maid, or that the duster is a magic fairy wand, the games are endless. The kids I babysat for now fight over who gets to dust! This makes dusting easy and most importantly - quick. Once you try one of these you will never know how you lived without it, and at this price its an especially good deal, enough to get more than one (if you have multiple kids this is a WISE idea). | Ostriches live in dusty regions and their feathers have a natural mechanism for fanning dust away in an almost self-cleaning way. You can dust and dust with this feather duster, then shake it to loosen the static and continue dusting. It does a great job and isn't abbrasive to surfaces. |
