Cute, but.....
We live on Maui, so our selection of baby bedding was somewhat limited. Scouring online websites with seeminly hundreds of sets led us to this one. It is so adorable! We are truly happy with it. However, regarding the mobile: its only downside is that the song it plays is sooooo short!! Granted we haven't set up the new crib yet, so I'm not sure how the stabilization factor will fair, as I read was a complaint from another reviewer. Anyway, other than the brevity of the song, it is nice to look at!
Cute, Useful for Awhile
I have the bedding set but I didn't register for this mobile because I was going to get a more educational one. However, when I received it as a gift, I thought I would give it a try because it matched the set. It is very pretty and works fine on my crib. The length of the music is a little short and I have to wind it up two or three times in a row, but I have a CD player in the room for when I want music that lasts awhile. The colors and movement of the animals entertain the baby for about three song lengths then he becomes uninterested. Once the baby starts moving around, I'll have to take it down anyway so I'll put in other crib toys. I would recommend it because like all mobiles it can only be used for a little while.
easy to install
This mobile was really easy to install and was one of the few things I could put together myself instead of passing off to my husband. It's true that the music doesn't last very long - but I get sick of it if it plays forever anyway. It would be nice if the music had an on/off switch instead of just the wind up feature, but that is my only complaint. There are other, more expensive mobiles that have adjustable heights, songs, etc but this one matches our bedding set and is fine for the price.
