| I bought this for my daughter who loves to dance and loves music. The cartridge worked perfectly for a month and a half and now all we hear is the static and the noise others have mentioned. I am going to try the non acetone nail polish remover trick mentioned below and see if that fixes the problem. I hope so - my daughter was really enjoying it. I am giving the cartridge only 2 stars because a well made product should not have to be 'fixed' to use it, in my opinion. At the very least you should be aware of the effort needed to keep the cartridge operational. | |

| Mine had a good deal of static as well. In fact it was unplayable - just garbled sounds and static. I am going to try to clean the connectors as the last reviewer described. hope this helps. The world music cartridge also has problems tho not a badly as this one. | |

| This cartridge prodced a lot of static with my daughter's Music Blocks until I wiped the metal parts clean with non-acetone nail polish remover. |
