| Awesome coffee table for less |
| My boyfriend and I bought this coffee table for our studio. We went to three different stores just so we can get a hold of one (I guess the demand for them is pretty wild). We purchased the coffee table at a distant Target store, but let me tell you it was well worth it. We got home and I started to assemble it (that just tells you its easy to assemble). It was perfect for our small living room! We are thinking of buying the Mission collection because it is very economical. |
| Stability Tips |
| Before purchasing this table I read the previous reviews and stability was a concern for me. I decided to go ahead and purchase the table but to use Elmer's Wood Glue as I put it together. I knew I didn't want to add more screws or anything to brace it. The wood glue has done the trick. My table is VERY SOLID. Make sure to put the glue along each edge and in each hole before the cambolts or the screws. I've been amazed. |
| Really great deal on real wood |
| This table is sturdy and a really inexpensive way to furnish a room. I am very pleased with the whole collection. And the mission set goes perfectly with the cambridge armoire in natural finish. The best thing about these pieces is that unlike other cheap furniture when you wear away the egdes on this it doesn't give that cheap particle board appearance because its real wood and there is no stain on it its the same color through out. I am tempted to refinish the pieces in a slightly darker stain in the future. If you are worried about wobbling try wood gluing the pegs when assembling and there is nothign saying you can't drill and add a few more screws to the thing for a fifty cent fix, and that goes for the rest of the pieces in the mission collection if you find them shakey. |
