 OMG What a fantastic game | |
| I finished this game last night and what a blast the journey was. I bought this game to take my mind away from work and school but I got hooked. When I thought I was stuck, it was because I had overlooked something -- you really have to use your wits and analytical skills sometimes! My boyfriend and I played together, he took some platforms and I did some. I thought the graphics were superb and it has made me a snob against games whose graphics are not as advanced. I'm no gamer-expert, just a casual user so I'm really no authority on graphics but this was fantastic. The other reviewer was correct -- you have to work at timing your vine jumps and sprints to get to where you want to go. This game was witty, exciting and aethetically marvelous. | |

| I always rent a game before I buy it, and this one passed the test within the first day. Aside from the graphics being really nice in an eye candy, clamation sort of way, I think that it plays nice and smooth as well. There were some minor moments of frustration where I thought I had gotten myself stuck in an area witout a skill I needed, but each time this happened I would find that I only overlooked the answer that was right in front of me. If you like adventure games with a bit of silly fun in them I would highly reccommend this one. It is a lot of fun without being so easy that there is no challenge. You have to have the proper timing to swing from vine to vine, to use the crocs without being eaten, to run across hot coals, etc, but I haven't come across anything that is unmanageable to the point that it ruins the fun of the game. Check it out-- and if you get hooked like I did-- add it to your collection. | |

| I rented this game a couple of days ago. Right when I got inside, I put the game in. After 10 minutes, I took it out and never put it back in. This game is awfull! I like the old pitfall, but this game gets boring in like 5 minutes!!!! Trus me on this. I dont know how someone could give this 5 stars. The graphics are okay, but not anything compared to other ps2 games. The controlls get me so mad; I try to get on a rope and I keep falling, completly missing!! Sometimes it jumps, sometimes it doesnt want to. The only good thing is that you can unlock the old pitfall, ( if anyone will go through the most boring game ever, ) But I didnt get far enough cause this game is so bad. RENT FIRST!!!! Please dont spend 50 bucks on this game. I had high hopes:( :( :( |
