| I was getting about 15 pop-ups every half hour. It was making me crazy when I'd be typing an email to a friend, and all of a sudden my typing would stop because my screen turned into a pop-up. I would have to close out the sometimes 2 or more pop-ups, and go back to where I was typing. I actually went to their website, www.stopzilla.com, and purchased a years subscription at $19.95 and downloaded their program. Since installing it today, it has stopped all pop-ups on my screen. I am in heaven and highly recommend this company for getting rid of your pop-ups! They also have great customer service! | |

| First of all, this software _does_ stop pop-ups; as can many other completely free programs. However I think the approach of blocking pop-ups is completely missing the point. In my experience, if you are already protecting yourself from spyware, you shouldn't be getting a lot of pop-ups, unless you are visiting unsavory sites or using file swapping programs. To protect yourself from spyware, there are many fine programs available including; Ad Aware, Spybot, and Spyware Blaster. Try these out and you will see the number of pop-ups you get decline dramatically. |
