how to hang |
| I love my tiki head tissue box cover, and when I got it,like everyone else, I wanted to hang it on the wall. I noticed that after I put the tissue box in and stood it on end, there was a small gap between the top of the tissue box and the top of the cover. I put a three inch nail in my wall as a hook, and it works quite well, especially since there is an opening in the end of the cover which the head of the nail can poke through. |
Hilarious looking, but... |
| ... the description for this item said it could be used on table or wall, but as we've all discovered - to hang it on the wall requires some clever engineering by the owner. It definitely loses some of its charm lying on the table top rather than being vertical, like a REAL tiki. If the manufacturer wants to claim it is suitable to hang on walls, they need to include wall hardware. As for the size of tissue box, it is definitely shorter than the usual boxes. I found that the only ones that fit are off-brand tissues sold at dollar stores, bulk stores, etc. Name brands are too tall. |
Love it! |
| I saw this at a friend's house and had to have one! Now that I do, all of my friends want one. I live in Hawaii so it really goes well with our decor. The box is not quite high enough to cover the entire box but just buy a box of tissue that is close to the same color, no problem! |
