 Best invention for the pet owner!! |
| I have four cats and as you can imagine, it's hard to keep up with the little furballs. I bought this hoping that it wasn't another "as seen on TV" gimmick. I was so pleasantly surprised. It's running right now as we speak. I cannot believe how much hair it picks up, not to mention stray kitty litter and little nuggets of kitty food. I use this religiously. I am going to invest in the rapid charger next as it does run out of battery power after 2 to 3 rooms for me and I have six rooms I like to run it in. I still pull out the big vacuum once a week or maybe not even that often. I do not have area rugs so I'm not sure of the other comments but I do love my Roomba!! I have had no problems with it getting stuck. I pick up scratching posts, table chairs, etc. and let it run it's course. |

| We have 4 cats and 2 dogs and my Roomba helps keep the hair picked up between normal vacuuming. It does not replace my weekly vacuuming, but if I had hard wood or other vs. carpet throughout and didn't have so many fur factories, it probably would. Cleaning hair out of the brush roller can be tricky, but a high pressure air hose helps out.
Additional virtual wall(s) and a rapid charger are a must. |

| I got the original Roomba last year (2003) for Christmas and love it! My mom has osteoperosis and was unable to use her upright vacuum any longer. So this year at Christmas, we got her the Red Roomba. She was very skeptical at first, and was afraid to even hook up the charger. But she called me at work yesterday to let me know she had finally gotten the nerve to turn it loose and she was AMAZED! She called again today and said she was using it again in a different room and was shocked when she went to empty the dirt cup and found coins in there. Especially since she never heard them being taken into the vacuum. Her upright would have made lots of noise and would have ended up with a broken belt from the coins! She's totally tickled at the way it works! We gave one to my mother-in-law, too, and she's equally pleased! Thank you for such a wonderful product!!! (I'm jealous now because the newer versions have features mine doesn't have.....) |
