Rush Out & Get This One | |
| This book embodies what Suze Orman aspires to. The author lays out a philosophy of getting rich without killing yourself doing it and then, shows you how in a step-by-step fashion. He backs it up with examples including ones from his own life. He also shows you how to become rich in a way that follows the basic spiritual principles of integrity, service and honor. Marc Allen should know. I had the pleasure of meeting him in person, and he is indeed a laid-back dude. You would never peg him as being the usual Type A, tight collar running a multi-million dollar corporation. But indeed, he owns the publishing company that produced the runaway bestseller The Power of Now (he discovered it himself), so you can't argue about whether he's successful or not. He is humble and happy, a wonderful example for us all. This book never gets into the eye-glazing detail (based on fear) that makes many money books virtually unreadable. If you follow these steps, which aren't hard, I don't think it's possible NOT to become a millionaire in a mellow, unstressed, deeply integrous way. What could be better? | |
A Great Guide for Creating a Meaningful Life
| Marc Allen's latest work, The Millionaire Course, picks up where his previous books left off, providing a holistic approach to achieving success, fulfillment and conscious wealth building. As usual, Marc's style is very readable and engaging as the insertion of 168 "keys" throughout the book allow a reader to easily access practical tips and timeless wisdom at their own pace. Far from being simply a book about making money, The Millionaire Course is a treatise about how to live "a life of your dreams" while effectively co-existing with others in a fast-changing world. Having developed his own success system in the course of becoming a self-made millionaire and highly successful business owner, Marc shares his practices and insights in a form that allows anyone to adapt them to their own lives. Given the challenging current conditions of our society, this is a book that has come along at the right time for so many people. There is truly something here for everybody. I heartily recommend The Millionaire Course for anyone seeking fulfillment and happiness in their quest for success and financial security. | |
Same stuff, different book....
| Nothing new here, folks. All this book does is give page after page of quotes from other writers of books on spirituality (James Allen, Lenedra Carroll, Eckhart Tolle,etc..) as well as other historical figures. The rest is just a bunch of his, hazy at best, personal experiences. The level of this book can best be pinpointed by relaying one of his "keys": "Work smarter, not harder" The constant advertisments to purchase the above mentioned author's books also became very tiresome. |
