 Not great for monitoring but great for getting baby to sleep | |
| If you're using this as a monitor, then it's really not a great product. There's a ton of feedback - very fuzzy sound. But as far as getting my baby to sleep . . . FANTASTIC! I'd put my son in his crib, turn on the ceiling light show and he almost always went to sleep. No kidding! The boy started sleeping through the night at 8 weeks - regularly - and I attribute at least part of that to the light show keeping him occupied as he fell asleep. After months of loving this thing, however, it ceased to work in my home. Something about a neighbor purchasing some electronic equipment that wasn't compatible - the thing started going off at random, which was irritating. F-P was never able to give me a good explanation about why it happened. Sending this product back was a sad moment in my life. By the way, I've noticed a lot of my F-P products cease to work properly after a few months - this monitor, that stupid portable swing (waste of money) and recently my son's crib aquairum went dead. | |

| I put this item on my baby registry since I thought it would be cool to have a ceiling projection for my baby to look at. I received it as baby gift and became disappointed after just a couple of use. The projection didn't work properly and the monitor part was full of static. I returned the monitor and exchanged it for a different one. The one we have now is extremely quite...not static. | |

Like many, we used this for three months and the bulb went out. Can't find a replacement, so I'm not even sure if that is the problem. Phones and TV's cause a lot of static, however it was OK for us with no electronics on. This was not really worth the price when it did work....spend your money elsewhere. |
