| I suppose I shouldn't have been, seeing as I own "Sirround Sound", but the tracks on this compilation (yes compilation) are a little more dance / techno oriented than I thought they'd be. I also thought this was a new Djinji Brown album, when in fact it's just a mixtape, albeit a good one. My favorite tracks are definetly the remixes of "Music In Me (Come Alive)" from DJ Spinna, and "Rock With You" from Jazzy Jeff's album. The tracks flow together pretty well, seeing as there is quite a range of styles on here, from some straight up techno sounding tracks, to drum n bass, jungle, hip-hop, etc. If you liked Sirround Sound at all, I would reccommend this. Even if you haven't, this is a pretty good mix to have. I haven't been disappointed yet in anything from 7 heads. |
