 Great service. Too bad it is needed so often. |
| We purchased the table, extension table, and six chairs. The table had one incorrect bolt and the lip was bent. The company (foremost international) is replacing the table top and should be sending the bolt too. The extension table was missing a screw that is used to hold the plastic support for the glass top. I asked them to send a new screw. I hope it comes with the table top that is being delivered this week. That part is not mentioned on their website. One of the chairs already needs touch up.
Overall the chairs are very comfortable and the table has not exploded (We got it in April or May, 2004). This companies quality control could be quite a bit better. Their customer support and warranty, however, is great. |
| Should I open it? |
| I received this table, as well as the accent table, and umbrella as a wedding gift. We have been waiting to open it until the deck is done, and now I am afraid to open the box...let alone, eat a meal on this table! Aside from poor quality, it is just dangerous. Maybe if enough people contact the CPSC, they will recall the table. There is an online form that is easy to fill out... Do I bother hunting all over the state for the matching chairs? It sounds like it isn't worth it! |

| After all the negative reviews, almost all from shattered glass top, Target is obviously not standing behind their products. I tried returning the table, after reading the reviews, but they won't let me, because we've already opened the package, and the glass hasn't shattered yet. Don't make the same mistake we made. DO NOT GET THIS TABLE. |
