 This set is garbage!!! |
| This set is a waste of money. I bought this set last May and during the winter months, kept the entire set in my shed. Brought it out last week for spring cleaning, etc and the every piece is chipping away after 1 SEASON!!!! The paint is gone on the base of all the chairs, the metal is bare on the tops of the tables. Now, I can't get the manufacturer to take ownership of this garbage. "Take a picture of your 'mess' and send it to us to see what can be done" they say. |

| I purchased the Summer Island bar set w/4 bar stools and 2 small occasional tables.
I didn't know at the time I could purchase the spring chairs separately from the regular table set.
Now, I'm screwed cuz Target decided to discontinue the collection.
I tried to get a set after I found out you could purchase them separately and was told they were sold out so I asked to buy a pair of the ones on display - was told no can do.
What did I see last time I went in?
One spring chair in the garden shop outside w/ CLEARANCE on it.
I would've liked to bought 2 when they were relatively clean and not banged up.
Don't bother calling any Target store in the South Florida area - I've already done it - none available - I was also told once an item is on clearance it is discontinued and won't be back.
TARGET, YOU'LL MAKE A LOT OF MONEY IF YOU BRING BACK THE WHOLE SUMMER ISLAND COLLECTION - LOTS OF PEOPLE ARE LOOKING FOR IT!
What you see here is only the people who bothered to post a comment . . . lots of people wouldn't go that far.
If you choose to bring it back, please advertise so we know.
I live 30 miles from the closest Target so it's not like I can just pop in and check.

| I have been to or called every Target in Central Texas looking for some more of these chairs. I want 2 more sets and a set of the swivel chairs (Not for Bar). I bought 4 bar stools and the bar to match. I have the large table, accent table and the umbrella already.
I need more chairs. Please help me. |
