It is definitely light!
| While my son is not born yet, we already went and bought this stroller. Mine is this version--the Aria LB (2004 one) in black sable. I tested a million strollers. I was already partial to Peg Perego but the cost was a concern. Above all I chose this one because it is as light as it promises. Just under 10 lbs, it is extremely maneuverable, compact, and easy to collapse when needed. It's easy to work the back of the seat for your child (I cannot believe how hard it is on some strollers). This year's Arias have a much larger basket beneath the stroller--a nice plus. I needed a light stroller that had one bar handle (not the two handles like on the Pliko) so I chose the Aria LB. The handle bars are not adjustable nor reversible--so if you or your spouse is tall this could be a frustration. Also there is no large parent tray across the handle like there often is on Graco models--just a cup holder on the side. This did not matter to me, but it may to some. The stroller is goodlooking, very light, and easily turned with one hand even with considerable weight. It's a great improvement on last year's model! (which I might add I've only found for an extra $20 off--not enough of an incentive for me to buy last year's model!) And as usual, all the usual quality and safety features found on Peg Peregos are all here. | |
Compact, Light, Almost Perfect
| I have the 2003 Aria in Synergy. The left rear brake broke after a couple months - not a part that can be replaced, but Babies R Us took the broken stroller back and gave us store credit. We debated upgrading to the Peg Perego Pliko or the Venezia, but decided to stick with the Aria. The features that make this stroller a winner: Why I call this stroller "almost perfect" All in all, a great stroller. I had the chance to upgrade or switch to a different brand/model, and ultimately decided to stick with the Peg Perego Aria. | |
Great stroller! | |
| I really like this stroller. It is very lightweight and turns great. I got rid of my evenflo stroller when my daughter was 6 months and bought this one instead. I have no complaints. It handles great. I love the handle on the side. I can hold my daughter and get this stroller out of the trunk with my other hand. The storage area underneath is a little small, but I knew that when I bought it. There are so many positives with this stroller that they outweighed the smaller basket. I also really like the easy to use piece in the back that adjusts the seat recline. It never wakes up my daughter when I lower it! |
