Best Headset I've ever used
| I'm using this with a Motorola V710 from Verizon Wireless. It is by far the best headset I have ever used for a mobile phone. I've had about 6 total (2 Moto, 1 Nokia, 1 generic, 2 Plantronics) before this one, all wired. While at least half had good quality sound, they all had some sort of design flaw. Either short cord or uncomfortable earpiece. This works well. I'm a consultant and travel on highways, subways, and local roads. Have never had a problem with the 820 except where I had poor phone reception. Even going 65 on 95, I could hear perfectly, although they couldn't hear me when I had my windows rolled down. | |
Motorola Bluetooth HS820....6 STARS
| All of my friends are jealous.....HeHeHe....Working in the technology field, this product stands up to its name. Motorola did a wonderful job. I thought after a couple of days the novelty would wear off and it would be left behind like the several Palm's that I have owned. Nope....not the case, I look forward to using it. Sync's up easily, voice activation works wonderfully, volume buttons work well, overall in comparison with a cord hanging and a hearing aid looking unit in my ear....it is absolutely excellent. I think that for all of the people that gave a negative review they either didn't read the operators manual....ie...don't know how to properly operate it...or they haven't used it in conjuction with a good phone. Only one way to go with this unit and that is with the RAZRRRRR.. | |
Hailing frequencies open.....
| I'm one of those people that always forgets to take my phone out of my pocket when I enter the car, much less plug the earpiece in. This usually meant that I was trying to get the phone out of my pocket at a stoplight before it went to voice mail. I must have looked like I was having some sort of fit to the casual passer-by.
Now I have a bluetooth equipped Moto V710 (well, thanks to Verizon, "bluetooth equipped" is a bit of a stretch) and this headset. Whenever the phone starts ringing, I just pluck this little thing out of the ashtray, hold the button down for a few seconds to turn it on, hit the buttton again to connect and chat away. Even better, to dial I can just hit the button once and use voice commands to call out. The phone stays in my pocket, my hands stay on the wheel, my eyes on the road, and everybody's happy. The shape of the thing and its blinky blue light makes one look like some demented Lt. Uhura immpersonator, but what the hey.... |
