| First, Metal Gear Solid(good), Second, Metal Gear Solid 2:Sons of Liberty(great), Third, Metal Gear Solid 3:Snake Eater(Hands Down The Best Game of 2004, Without A Doubt) the graphics are amazing, the gameplay is incredible, the skill level is un-matched. The feature that I like most is the fact that you have to hunt&kill your food in order to eat&survive, you must treat your wounds in order to stay healthy and depending on the environment you must change your camoflauge and face paint in-order to blend in better with your surroundings , so that the enemy will have a harder time spotting you. The Enemy Boss's are even harder, in this one, then the previous 2. After playing this game I got a better understanding of the whole story line behind the Metal Gear Series, I just can't wait for the 4th installment and the movie. Like I said hands-down, with-out a doubt the best game of 2004. This is a must have for PS2!!!! | |

| This game is by far the best game i have played since resident evil 1. It took me through the motions of surviving in the jungle, falling in love with a character, and endulging myself into the gameplay. you will fall in love with every aspect of the game. I only give it 4 stars because some of the cinematics are long (but informative). please, pick this up..it is worth it. | |

| Whew... I just finished the game and trust me when I say, "Wow." The story is so tight and well written, the plot twists are numbing, and the action is tightly packed. The game is filled with so much stuff. Its beautiful, plays smoothly, and has so many little things that make the bigger things more fun (ex. tranquilize the bosses instead of killing them). There are various funny things like... well you just have to see them. They're something like comic relief or just really funny stuff. The story, characters, costumes, and other stylish features give the game a classy, classic feel. Its as if you're in an actual '60s futuristic movie(!).
But, I gave the game only four stars because there are parts that get a little too bothersome for me. Some levels are a little too long, too difficult, or whatever (but that's just me). Like my title suggests, there are some segments that might make you feel just like Snake as you have to find food for him. There is a sniper battle that can last very long (depending on how good you are) and the ending is a combo of cutscenes and demanding play action. I got a headache and needed to take a break (which I didn't want to do) to go feed myself... With this in mind, except for the length of the game (I beat it in 25hrs but didn't take the time to find all the hidden goodies), which isn't too long anyway, this story would be more engaging than most movies. Oh, the soundtrack is awesome too. Buy the game. Have fun. |
